What happens
On the Red Horse Ranch, the cowhand Tenderfoot rides away after believing he stands in the way of Alabama, who also loves Rose Carter. Rose blames herself for his departure and worries that he will not return. Meanwhile the ranch hands sing on the veranda and try to cheer her. Alabama rides out to bring Tenderfoot back, and the boys prepare music to welcome them. When Tenderfoot returns, the crew confronts him, and they then learn the group is heading to a rodeo at Danville, where Alabama is entered in the races. The ranch hands are confident he will win, and the story ends on the rodeo's upcoming events.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
