What happens

Alabam has been knocked out by one of Steve Bradford's henchmen and left behind in the Danville saloon, and rustlers have driven off the Red Horse cattle. Carter and his cowhands gather at the bunkhouse, angry at the loss and eager to ride after the thieves. Tenderfoot is questioned about the night's events and admits he left town before Alabam did. Carter then holds the men at the ranch, refusing to let them search for Alabam. Bradford visits the ranch and offers his account of Alabam's whereabouts, which Carter appears to accept. The story is set on the Red Horse Ranch in the Old West and is part of the Red Horse Ranch radio series.

Listen for: Carter's refusal to let the cowhands ride out after Alabam, and what Bradford tells him about Alabam

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
