What happens
Alabam, Bob, Idaho and Dewey, ranch hands from the Red Horse Ranch, follow a mysterious map left by the slain outlaw Dawson. The map leads them to a falls on a roaring river, and they descend the canyon below it while the other boys wait at the top with the horses. Inside a cave behind the falls they encounter Bradford and his men, who are also after the outlaw's loot. Alabam and his companions must navigate the dark passages and tense confrontations, with the cave's twisting paths and the rival party both pressing in around them. The story follows the search through the caverns as the two groups meet in the dark.
