What happens
On the Red Horse Ranch, Alabam and the cowhands have decoded invisible writing on a map found in Dewey Dawson's locket, which reads that the other half of the map lies near a lookout point above the town of Roaring River. Rose and Dad Carter agree to spare the boys for a few days, and Alabam gathers the crew for the trail. Dewey insists on coming along, and Cookie joins too, loaded with pots and pans to cook on the way. Two banks have offered a reward for the return of the stolen loot, and the men set off determined to find where Dawson hid it.
