What happens

Ryan is puzzled by a mysterious map found in Dewey Dawson's locket. Outlaws have repeatedly tried to take the locket from Dewey, and some believe the map may lead to Dawson's hidden loot. The Red Horse outfit is not offering Alabama any help with the map. Later, Rose sees a rider in the trees, and the hands go out to investigate. They find a man with a match searching the grounds. He is identified as Steve Bradford, who says he was looking for something Dewey had lost. Back at the bunkhouse, the hands examine the map again and discover that heat from a match reveals writing that was not visible before.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
