What happens
Alabam, a ranch hand on the Red Horse Ranch, rides out alone toward the neighboring Bard D Ranch to investigate a rumor that cattle are being rustled from the Red Horse herd. Owner Sam Carter and the other hands wait back at the ranch, uneasy that Alabam has not returned. Sam Carter is the owner of the ranch, and the episode is part of the Red Horse Ranch radio series. The transcript breaks off as the hands gather at the ranch house after Alabam's horse, Red, returns without him and the men set out to search for him.
The Red Horse Ranch and the nearby Bard D Ranch, where cattle rustling is suspected.

Listen for: Alabam's return, and what happened to him after he rode out toward the Bard D.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
