What happens
Sam Carter and his ranch hands at the Red Horse Ranch in Wyoming celebrate after Carter decides not to sell the ranch to Steve Bradford. The men sing, ride and compete at bulldogging, and Rose Carter listens in as Bradford's interest in the land is discussed. The cowboys' fun is interrupted when Alabama's roan horse, which he had been training for tricks, disappears from the corral. The episode leaves the cowboys searching for the missing horse, and the question of what happened to it remains open.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
