What happens
Young Dewey Dawson and his dog are allowed to stay at the Red Horse Ranch, thanks to Alabama's kindness. The cowhands turn their minds to the big rodeo planned in Danville, while Tenderfoot's attention is on Rose. Arizona, mooning over a woman he has not seen in fifteen years, sings with the boys beneath the moon. Tenderfoot goes up to the veranda to see Rose, where they talk of the stars and of his wish to make good at the ranch. Rose makes clear her feelings for him are those of a friend, and Tenderfoot realizes that Alabama is the one she cares for. The boys wonder how Alabama will respond. Details of the series' original air date and cast are not given in this excerpt.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
