What happens
Alabam, a hand on the Red Horse Ranch, lies injured in the bunkhouse after falling from his horse Red. Rose tends to him while the ranch boys sing outside, and Cookie stops by to visit. Mr. Carter arrives to ask what happened, and Alabam recounts riding across the B-D range to check on stray Red Horse cattle. Later, Alabam confides privately in Tenderfoot, revealing a suspicion about who struck him and why. The ranch's upcoming roundup and its importance to saving the Red Horse hang over the scene.
The bunkhouse of the Red Horse Ranch, and the surrounding range including the B-D land and the Badlands.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
