What happens

Police Commissioner Momburg of Dusseldorf is pursuing a killer who has stabbed several victims, including children, across the city through the summer of 1929. A young woman, Mariah Butler, reports that a man tried to choke her in a city park and led her toward a house on Lampa Street. Momburg's men find the suspect's home empty, but the wife of the suspect, Frau Curtain, is brought in for questioning. Momburg presses her to reveal where her husband is hiding, and she agrees to meet him at Rocha's Plot. The episode is part of the Police Reporter series and is presented as a true murder mystery.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
