Rain on the glass · trouble at the door

Gumshoe

with Gumshoe

The rain won't quit and neither will the phone,
somebody's missing and somebody's alone.
A hat, a coat, a city after dark,
an expense account and a question mark.

Whole cases, start to finish, from radio's golden years:
it's Gumshoe. Pull the blinds. Nobody's here.
