What happens
Nick Carter takes a case from a man whose friend Vernon Wallace disappeared after a poker game at a disreputable waterfront saloon run by a one-legged man called Bill. Nick goes undercover to the establishment, feigns losing at cards, and accepts the offer of a room to stay the night, where he discovers bloody clothing hidden in a closet—evidence of foul play.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
