What happens

Ken Thurston, an agent of the American occupation intelligence in Tokyo, learns that his borrowed raincoat was found on a dead man in Meiji Park, a body identified as that of missing agent Ken Thurston. Thurston suspects the dead man was Professor Charles Reynolds, an atomic radiation expert working on a defense against radiation poisoning. He visits the Sumoito Hospital, where Dr. Stephen Alistair and his assistant Nastaya Kartovna answer his questions guardedly. At Reynolds' apartment, Thurston and his partner Pagon discover a lethal radium capsule hidden in the bed. A mysterious caller then tells Thurston that the answers lie in a clicking Buddha.

Tokyo, Japan, shortly after the end of the occupation period, at the Daiichi building, Meiji Park, Sumoito Hospital and a Tokyo apartment.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
