What happens

Ken Thurston, an agent of the Bureau, is sent to Havana after a man named Pedro dies in a propeller accident at a New York airfield. Pedro's pockets hold pamphlets with detailed instructions for sabotage, and Ken follows the trail to the Hotel Metropole. There he meets the manager, Miguel, and a hostile young woman named Paquita. Strange events follow, including a shooting in a room across from Pedro's. Herbert Marshall stars as the Man Called X in this episode of the NBC series, first broadcast on January 13, 1951.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
