What happens

In Casablanca, a government agent named Ken Thurston is assigned to infiltrate a spy ring after a fellow agent, Darryl McAllister, was killed. Thurston and the airbase materials superintendent Steve Cameron are both tied to the ring, which is trying to learn about five top-secret American air bases being built in the city. Thurston goes to the Sword of Allah nightclub, where he meets the dancer Maeda, whose golden camellia medallions appear again and again in the case. Petrov, a large and sharp-spoken man, directs Thurston to a curio shop run by Tassinari. The Man Called X series, starring Herbert Marshall, aired on January 22, 1952.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
