What happens

George Valentine is asked to look into the odd behavior of Henry Salter, a mild-mannered man whose wife, Jane, believes he is hiding a secret. Henry has been receiving mysterious notes and gifts, and the name Tungalani keeps surfacing, a word that seems to mean nothing and to belong to no place. Valentine and his assistant Angel question the family, Henry's publisher and a friend, and begin to trace a series of odd clues. Bob Bailey stars in this 1951 episode of Let George Do It, first broadcast on Mutual-Don Lee on February 5, 1951, with Virginia Gregg and Frances Robinson among the cast.

Listen for: The repeated word Tungalani and the notes Henry has been writing and mailing.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
