What happens
George Valentine arrives at a remote, isolated resort owned by Hans Bjorkman, who has become obsessed with hunting a mysterious marauder—a large cat, possibly a puma or panther, that prowls the grounds. Hans is so consumed by the threat that he's become nearly uncontrollable, firing his gun at shadows and neglecting everything else. George must figure out what's really happening at this desolate place where everyone seems on edge.
A remote, snow-covered resort in a mountainous area during winter, isolated and nearly deserted.
Characters: George Valentine, Hans Bjorkman, Pinnock, Olga, Mr. Saxon, Miss Brooks
Listen for: The mysterious sounds of the prowling cat and Hans's increasingly erratic behavior as he hunts for the creature he believes is stalking his property.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
