What happens
George Valentine arrives at a remote, snowed-in resort owned by the increasingly unhinged Hans Bjorkman, who has become obsessed with hunting a large cat that has been prowling the property. George must figure out what is really happening at this isolated location where tension and fear run high, and everyone seems caught up in Bjorkman's mounting hysteria over the mysterious creature he calls the Marauder.
A small, deserted resort in a mountainous area during a harsh winter with ice and hailstones; the property is isolated and snow-bound.
Characters: George Valentine, Hans Bjorkman, Pennock, Olga, Rafe Saxon, Miss Brooks
Listen for: The mysterious cries of the prowling cat that has everyone on edge, and Hans Bjorkman's escalating paranoia and erratic behavior as he obsessively hunts the creature.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
