A city with George Valentine's detective office, police headquarters, and apartment buildings; St. Mary's Hospital is mentioned.

Characters: George Valentine, Lieutenant Riley, Miss Brooks, Honey Evans, The Killer

Listen for: The mysterious caller's increasingly chilling remarks about the murders and his obsession with a hidden motif connecting the victims; the tense phone conversation setup and Honey Evans' urgent modeling appointment that puts her in danger.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
