What happens
George Valentine is hired by a desperate man named Ramsey who fears he might harm himself or others. Through a hidden tape recorder, Ramsey discovers his wife Martha, his best friend Edward Dill, and a doctor named Dr. Baldwin are conspiring against him—possibly to have him committed so they can steal his share of a valuable business deal worth a million dollars. George begins investigating the scheme while Ramsey reveals evidence of the deception.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
