What happens

When a fire destroys the old mill in Mill Hollow, a woman's body is found in the ruins—Miss Abby, the town's piano teacher who has recently acquired a sinister reputation. George Valentine arrives to investigate whether her death was accidental or something more deliberate, as he discovers that Miss Abby's behavior changed dramatically about a year ago, leading townspeople to whisper about witchcraft and curse her with suspicion.

Mill Hollow, a small town in 1950, centered around the local fire department, Miss Abby's home, and the burnt remains of the old mill.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
