What happens

After anonymous threats and offers to buy it, George agrees to safeguard the idol and track down those involved, including an art dealer named Radnik who claims the piece was smuggled into the country.
A city with Oriental art dealers, a collector's apartment, Union Station, and George Valentine's apartment building.
Characters: George Valentine, Miss Brooks, Mr. Latham, Radnik, Ling, Joan Bartlett
Listen for: The mysterious idol that attracts unwanted attention from multiple parties; a street fight interrupted by unexpected help from the collector's servant; a late-night visitor with a gun demanding the idol.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
