What happens

George Valentine investigates mysterious break-ins at a magicians' convention hotel. Several rooms belonging to magicians have been ransacked, but nothing of value was stolen, suggesting the intruder was searching for something specific. George must uncover who is behind the disturbances and what they're looking for.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
