What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator for International Life, travels to Lake Tahoe to look into the disappearance of Marvin Smedley, a wealthy retiree who lived in a stone house by the water. Smedley's housekeeper, Mrs. Turner, heard a noise in the night and later found his safe rifled and his study disturbed, and police found footprints leading to the dock. Smedley's twin nephews, Tracy and Alfred, are suspected, but both appear to have alibis, and Johnny questions the boys, the housekeeper, and a casino witness to sort out what happened. The series is Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, first broadcast on CBS Radio on October 16, 1960, starring Bob Bailey.
