What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives in Kingman, Arizona to investigate the deaths of three prosperous Haskell brothers who died in a mine cave-in at the Midas Touch Mine, with a million and a half dollars in life insurance at stake. Hard Luck Dennis, a prospector who promoted the mine to the brothers, is the prime suspect, but when he contacts Johnny and arranges a secret meeting at an old shack in the desert, he claims he didn't commit the murder.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
