What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives at Lake Mojave to investigate the Midas Touch Mine case, where the Haskell brothers died in a cave-in. Hard Luck Dennis, who received $60,000 to reopen the mine, was recently shot and lies hospitalized. Johnny explores the mine with Buster and discovers evidence of the cave-in's cause, then rushes back to the hospital when Dennis finally regains consciousness with a crucial accusation.
