What happens

Johnny Dollar arrives in Corpus Christi to investigate a fraudulent psychic named Udi Vishnu, who operates a spiritualist temple just beyond the city limits. Insurance investigator Jack Price believes Vishnu is manipulating his followers into naming him as beneficiary on their insurance policies, and two of their clients have been mysteriously murdered. Dollar attends one of Vishnu's evening séances to observe the con artist at work.

Corpus Christi, Texas; the Temple of the Living Truth, a converted barn several miles south of the city near Ranch 66

Characters: Johnny Dollar, Jack Price, Udi Vishnu

Listen for: Vishnu's theatrical presentation and the crowd's reaction; Johnny's impressions of the supposed psychic and his methods

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
