What happens
Johnny Dollar is summoned to Boston by his old contact Christian Albeck at International Life and Casualty to investigate the disappearance of John Stuart Kirkman, a wealthy retired businessman with a quarter-million-dollar policy. Albeck hints that three suspects with possible motives—Charles Hockaway (who owes Kirkman $100,000), Mildred Armstrong (Kirkman's ex-wife), and Tony Benson (a young drifter)—have all recently moved to the Santa Harbor area in New Hampshire where Kirkman lives. When Johnny arrives at Santa Harbor, Police Chief Mike Sharp reveals that Kirkman has been found dead.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
