What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar follows Maria to the Marrakesh Cafe in Algiers after she calls in distress, claiming to be followed. At the cafe, a gunfight erupts between Johnny and an unseen assailant. Johnny pursues the shooter's car in a wild chase along a clifftop road that ends in a fiery crash. Johnny discovers the dead driver is André Jourdain, a customs property agent, and realizes Maria knew exactly who it would be.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
