What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is tracking down the Lorko Diamonds, worth $100,000, which have gone missing. He bribes an employment agent named Abdul for the address of Chatter, a servant who worked for the Countess, suspecting her of attempted murder. After a rough visit from a man named Barrett, Johnny heads to the Casbah late at night to find Chatter, but instead meets a man called Bobo who claims to know where the diamonds are.

North Africa, specifically the Casbah quarter of a major city; Johnny's hotel room and a coffeehouse in the native quarter.
