What happens

Johnny Dollar takes on the unusual job of bodyguard to Laird Douglas Douglas of Heatherscote, a purebred Scottish terrier owned by the wealthy Mrs. Van Pieten. When a bomb is discovered in Johnny's hotel suitcase, he begins investigating who might want to harm the valuable dog—or perhaps Mrs. Van Pieten herself. Johnny's suspicions turn toward Warren Staley, Mrs. Van Pieten's nephew and heir, who resents his enforced luxury and the family's vast business empire.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
