What happens

Johnny Dollar arrives in Philadelphia to investigate a case for Philly Mutual and discovers his client is Mrs. Peter Malcolm Kelly Van Piteen, a wealthy woman who wants him to protect her prized Scottish Terrier, Laird Douglas Douglas, at an upcoming dog show. The dog has been targeted before with attempted doping, and Mrs. Van Piteen suspects Harrison R. Kenworthy, who owns a rival Kerry Blue Terrier named Lady Odetti's Rollin' Meme, may try to sabotage Laird Douglas before the competition.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the wealthy Van Piteen estate in Germantown; the upcoming Ballakinwood dog show

Characters: Johnny Dollar, Ray Roland, Harry Branson, Mrs. Peter Malcolm Kelly Van Piteen, Laird Douglas Douglas (a Scottish Terrier), Harrison R. Kenworthy, Mr. Rollin' (dog show authority)

Listen for: Johnny's frustration at being hired as a bodyguard for a dog rather than investigating a serious case; the revelation that Kenworthy may have tried to dope the Scotty before; Mrs. Van Piteen's insistence on paying for everything and her determination to protect her dog's chances at the show.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
