What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives at the Lamar home to investigate the death of Thomas Lamar, who was poisoned with Para Damaran, a rare toxin derived from an exotic yellow flower. Dollar discovers a stolen library book on Mediterranean flora and zeroes in on suspects, including Walter Morrison, the former secretary who married and then divorced Vani Lamar. As evidence mounts about the source of the poison, Dollar traces the deadly plant's seeds to the estate's gardener Demetri and uncovers a shocking discovery about who had access to the poison and the means to administer it.
