What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar discovers a booby trap in Jan's car meant to kill him, then confronts her in her apartment. Jan and a mysterious foreign man reveal they've been working together to orchestrate the sinking of the yacht Jolly Roger and collect insurance money, having eliminated everyone who stood in their way. The man now pressures Johnny to join their scheme or face elimination.
