What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is hired by adjuster Carl Mason to locate Jackie Cleaver, who is the beneficiary of a $40,000 insurance policy left by her ex-husband Schumacher. Despite receiving regular alimony checks from California, Jackie has mysteriously disappeared from her last known location in Middletown, leaving only a trail of forwarding addresses and cryptic clues about her whereabouts.
