What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, looks into the murder of Harvey Stone, a wealthy man found dead in his New York apartment. Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar aired on CBS Radio on September 21, 1956, with Bob Bailey in the lead role. Dollar questions Harvey's stepmother Daphne Stone, who admits she was in the city the night of the killing and that she had argued with Harvey. He then speaks with Helen Barrett, Harvey's fiancée, whose account of her movements that night conflicts with the statement given by Harvey's secretary, Martha Winters. Alvin Gentry, who manages a supper club, has confessed to the crime, but Dollar begins to doubt the confession and pursues new lines of inquiry.
