What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives in Miami to investigate the death of William Marquis, whose chartered cruiser burned and sank beyond the surf. With the body still unrecovered, Dollar must determine whether Marquis died in an accident, suicide, or murder before the insurance company will pay out the $75,000 claim. As salvage crews prepare to raise the sunken boat, Dollar gathers information from those involved in the tragic incident.

Miami, Florida; the Marquis Beach House and the waterfront, with a salvage operation underway in the harbor.

Listen for: The mystery deepens as Johnny Dollar questions Mrs. Marquis about her husband's state of mind and the circumstances surrounding the cruiser fire, while a mysterious stranger lurks near the house.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
