With no body recovered and conflicting accounts, Dollar must determine whether Marky is actually dead or if his young employee Danny Haines, who was the sole survivor, is involved in his disappearance.

Miami Beach, Florida, and offshore waters; also referenced are New York and Hartford.

Characters: Johnny Dollar, Ralph Steedler, William Marky, Mrs. Marky, Danny Haines, Barney Wilson, The Diver

Listen for: The mystery of whether Marky actually died in the boat sinking, the tension between Haines and the Markys, and Johnny's investigation into the financial motives behind the insurance claim.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
