What happens
Johnny Dollar investigates a $65,000 insurance claim for the death of Duke Red, a valuable racehorse on the Abbott breeding farm. Mr. Abbott claims the horse was injured beyond repair when it reared and cut its Achilles tendon on a tractor blade, prompting Dr. Gory to recommend destruction. But Johnny finds conflicting accounts and suspicious behavior from those involved, and Abbott's daughter Terry insists the shooting was unjustified.
The Abbott breeding farm near San Pietro, California, and related locations in Hartford, Connecticut.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
