What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, is hired by Eric Turnbull to protect his nephew Donald Cronin on an expedition to open the tomb of Kamashek in Egypt. Dollar first visits the Explorers Club, where an eccentric member, Percival Scatterday, warns him of the curse said to strike those who disturb the tomb. At a stockbroker's office, Dollar learns that Turnbull's investments are far smaller than he claimed and that his bank accounts have been closed. Dollar then travels to Stamford to confront Turnbull at his home, where Turnbull reveals that Donald has already left for Egypt, and Dollar must decide how to follow him. The investigator's suspicions about his client grow steadily throughout this part of the case.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
