What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator for Allied Life Insurance, looks into the claim that Eric Turnbull has hired him to prevent a threat against his nephew, Donald Cronin. Turnbull believes that Donald's fiancee, Dorothy Harkness, is plotting against the young man, who plans to travel to Egypt to explore a tomb with a reputed curse. Dollar speaks with Dorothy, who insists that her interest in Donald is genuine, and hears her warnings about the tomb and the family's bitter tensions. The episode is part of the radio series Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, first broadcast on CBS Radio on September 4, 1956, with Bob Bailey in the title role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
