What happens

Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, is asked by his client Jim Sayer to visit Eric Turnbull, a wealthy man on Birchbrook Road. Turnbull is worried about his nephew Donald Crubman, the young heir to a large family trust, who is determined to lead an archaeological expedition to the ancient tomb of the Pharaoh Kamashek in Egypt. Turnbull controls the trust until Donald turns thirty and opposes the trip. When the two men argue, Donald announces he is leaving for Egypt anyway. Turnbull hints that Donald's fiancée, Dorothy Harkness, may have reasons of her own. Dollar leaves the house unsure what to make of it all, and at the station he sees Dorothy hurry to a car and ask him to call her. The episode is a 1956 installment of the CBS Radio series Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, starring Bob Bailey.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
