What happens
Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar looks into a claim after yachtsman Charles Kealey is reported lost when his boat, the Charmona, sank on Lake Erie during a hurricane. Dollar meets Kealey's wife, Mona, who seems more relieved about the loss than grieved, and she soon tells him that her husband has been found alive. Dollar begins to suspect that the sinking may not have been an accident. This is an episode of the radio series Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, first broadcast on CBS Radio on September 8, 1957, with Bob Bailey in the title role. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
