What happens

Johnny Dollar arrives at police headquarters where Sergeant Reynosa is interrogating Marty Midnight, a young stripper arrested at the bus station with a ticket to San Diego. The girl initially refuses to talk but breaks down when threatened with contacting her parents, revealing she knew Eddie Kalen and was supposed to run away with him to Mexico. After visiting the widow Lila Kalen at her apartment, Johnny makes a startling discovery that suggests the case may not be solved as believed.
