What happens

Johnny Dollar tracks down Lorraine Broderick, a deeply troubled woman standing on a hotel ledge threatening to jump. As she teeters on the edge, Johnny tries to connect with her by recalling people from her past who cared about her—including Dr. Pollard, William Damarin who still loves her despite her theft, and an old newspaper vendor named John Smith who showed her kindness years ago.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
