What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator for Floyd's of England, looks into a policy issued to inventor Joseph Hanpler, who has spent seven years developing a secret apparatus for making a compound called Boron 112 for high-powered fuel. Louise Larkin, secretary to George Reed, believes Hanpler is the same man she once saw at a subversive group's meeting, and Johnny sets out to determine what the insured device really is and whether the company's twenty-thousand-dollar risk is sound. The series is Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, and this episode aired on CBS Radio on January 12, 1958, with Bob Bailey in the lead role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
