What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives at a cliffside house to investigate threatening letters sent to advertising executive Ralph Appleton. That evening, a mysterious figure appears at the window, the phone goes dead, and Appleton's business partner Tom Baker unexpectedly arrives drenched from a car accident. The group retreats to a beach house to escape the tension, but Johnny senses hidden tensions and suspicious glances between some of the guests.

A leased house called Hamilton Hall perched on a cliff overlooking the sea near Skeleton Point, and a beach house below it, during a violent rainstorm.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
