What happens

Paladin rescues a man and woman from a flash flood, but the man turns out to be Adam Foley, an ex-convict whom the local sheriff has ordered out of town. Foley claims he's trying to make a fresh start with his injured wife, but the sheriff suspects he may be planning to rob the gold shipment that's now being diverted through town due to washed-out roads.

A small Arizona town near Phoenix, 1875. A doctor's office and the sheriff's office are mentioned.
