What happens

Paladin is summoned to help recover $80,000 in gold bullion that vanished along with a mule train on a mountain trail in the Sierra Nevada. He discovers abandoned mules and a frozen body, then encounters a man named Frenchy Bodine who disarms him and brings him into a scheme to retrieve something valuable from a remote mountain location.
