What happens
A stagecoach carrying gold shipment from the placer mines is attacked and robbed near Dodge City. The robbers kill the driver and shotgun guard, and apparently kidnap a female passenger. Marshal Dillon identifies the attackers as the Pueblo Gang, dangerous outlaws who arrived in town that morning, and sets out with Chester to track them down before the trail goes cold.
Dodge City and the surrounding territory, with the main action shifting to the road where a stagecoach is ambushed near a draw and willow grove by a river.
Characters: Matt Dillon, Chester, Kitty, Doc, Rio, Head, Chuck Evans, Houston Jack
Listen for: The robbery of a gold shipment worth 80 to 100 thousand dollars, the murder of the stage driver and guard, the apparent kidnapping of a passenger, and Matt Dillon's pursuit of the Pueblo Gang.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
